- - - Attacks

the manga, her two attacks are: Starlights Royal
Straight Flush, and Kinmoku Fusion Tempest. She
has very little time but uses these attacks in
the battle with Sailors Phi and Chi.

The Starlights are searching for Princess Kakyuu
all through the Sailor Stars season; she is the
reason that they came to Earth in the first
place. When Galaxia attacked Kinmoku, Kakyuu's
and the Starlight's home star, the Starlights
tried to fight her off but were unsuccessful.
Their solar system conquered, the weakened group
fled to our solar system. Unfortunately, on
their way, the Starlights and Kakyuu got
separated. The Starlights came to Earth and
became a band called the Three Lights in order
to reach Princess Kakyuu with their music and
lyrics.
Princess Kakyuu chose to come to Earth because our solar system happens to be the only one unconquered by Galaxia. Kakyuu is looking for the Light of Hope, Galaxia's Starseed, in order to defeat Chaos. She makes her appearance just at a crucial moment when Sailormoon's Starseed is almost stolen. Princess Kakyuu appears out of the little incense burner that Chibichibi carried around and kept at Usagi's house, eliminates the black hole released by Sailor Lead Crow, and holds Usagi in her arms as her Starseed merges back into her body.
While the outer senshi, Yaten and Taiki stubbornly oppose working together for a common goal, Princess Kakyuu asks for Sailormoon's help in finding the Light of Hope and defeating Chaos for the general good of the galaxy. Uranus and Neptune don't trust the Starlights and Princess Kakyuu, declaring that Kakyuu's request is a very selfish one. Meanwhile, Yaten and Taiki just want to go back to Kinmoku with Kakyuu and rebuild their home. Usagi and Kakyuu find themselves singled out because they are both princesses and relate to each other better than the rest.
Kakyuu has a certain scent to her that gives
the Starlights clues as to her whereabouts. Yaten
and Taiki were particularly miffed when they
realized that Chibichibi had a hold of Princess
Kakyuu's incense burner. Kakyuu's scent is
associated with the incense burner as well as
small red butterflies.

Sweet and calm, Kakyuu is serene and
well-composed. She projects the image of
maturity and patience; caring for the Starlights
as well as the rest of the senshi, without
making enemies. When the Starlights are about to
get into another one of many fights with Neptune
and Uranus, Kakyuu stops them. Instead of
rebuking Uranus and Neptune for making
assumptions or for being rude, she turns to
Usagi and says, "I believe in you,
Sailormoon." Her age isn't quite known,
though she looks like a young woman at Usagi's
age. The two relate in the way they trust in
others so strongly and without judging. She
deserves the undying respect that the Starlights
give her.
The Starlights care for their princess almost to the point of infatuation. After missing her for so long, they're incredibly relieved once they find her; they're ready to go back home. The Starlights are to Kakyuu as the Inner and Outer Senshi are to Sailormoon; they're extremely devoted to their princess and protect her at all costs.
That's why they were so devastated when, right after finding their princess, they lost her. During the Three Lights' final concert, Galaxia attacked. She came looking for a true Starseed and blasted Princess Kakyuu, taking her Starseed and killing her. Kakyuu actually managed to hold Galaxia back long enough to save the Starlights from harm, but in the end Galaxia managed to steal her Starseed (cackling delightedly in her glory while she was at it). Kakyuu faded out of existence, her last words being, "Maker, Healer, Fighter... come together." And realized then as Chibichibi held her hand that the toddler was the Light of Hope.
Kakyuu is still calm and sweet in the manga, but definitely has a bad ass side with a senshi transformation and two attacks, which she uses against Sailors Chi and Phi, killing one of them. In the end of the anime she is revived, her Starseed returned, and leaves with the Starlights to rebuild Kinmoku.
