- - - Jupiter Supreme Thunder
With this attack used in the first season, Sailorjupiter summons the gods of thunder and lightning to give her the power to electrocute her enemies. This is probably one of the most powerful of the earlier attacks.

- - - Supreme Thunder Dragon
Jupiter creates a dragon from a lightning bolt, which engulfs its target. This attack is used when Sailorjupiter is quite angry. It's very useful, but only used in the first part of Sailormoon R.

- - - Sparkling Wide Pressure
Another helpful little bugger. Jupiter calls this out and produces a small disk-like orb of lightening energy, which she chucks at her enemy.

- - - Jupiter Oak Evolution
This is Jupiter's most powerful attack, used through the Sailormoon Sailor Stars season. As her other attacks, this is quite something to reckon with. Jupiter starts spinning and throws a flurry of energy at the enemy.

Makoto (called Mako-chan by friends) is the most aggressive of the inner senshi. She goes to Juuban Junior High School in Minato-Ku with Usagi and co., but wears a different uniform because the normal ones couldn't fit her (she's very tall). She goes to Juuban High School in the fifth season and does find a uniform that fits her there.

When Makoto first transferred to Juuban Junior High School, she was a loner. Nobody talked to her because of a rumor that she started fights in her previous school. One day Makoto saved Usagi from getting hit by a car, and Usagi befriended her (Usagi, being the airhead she was, hadn't heard about the rumors). It turned out that the rumors were false; Makoto had transferred to Juuban because she used to like a guy in her previous school but he ended up liking one of her friends instead. Heartbroken, she felt the decision to transfer to a new school was a healthy one.

Makoto lives alone in an apartment full of plants; her parents were killed in a plane crash. Though Makoto may seem tomboyish or unladylike at first, she loves gardening and cooking, and is talented at both. Makoto's also very boy crazy, but no romance blooms for her (she and Minako are quite alike).

Makoto is the fourth inner senshi to be discovered (her senshi symbol greatly resembles a 4, go figure). She is also known as the senshi of faith and is the most powerful inner senshi in terms of raw strength. She is also the most aggressive and never hesitates to attack or fight using her hands.

An interesting character, while she is tall, muscular, and always ready to fight, she is also a sensitive girl who can cook like a gourmet and wears rose earrings. Once Makoto explains to Usagi that she felt it was necessary to learn to cook and clean because she was so unfeminine. It's true she's a very physical girl, and even without transforming she's quite strong. There are various episodes where Makoto fights people hand-to-hand and wins. But she never fights without provocation and only fights to protect.

Makoto's lives by herself and because of this has a very independent nature, taking care of herself (and others) admirably. And for someone who considers herself "unfeminine," she's an excellent dancer and figure skates gracefully. In fact, while Usagi, being Neo-Queen Serenity in the future and the Moon princess of the past, was supposed to have good skating skills, she was awfully clumsy. Makoto was so good at figure skating that she was once mistaken as being the Queen.

Makoto is very close to all the inner senshi, but her earliest friend is Shinozaki, a boy who is so close to her that, as she puts it: "Whenever I looked around he was there." He only makes one appearance in the series though. One person that Makoto greatly admires, though is Haruka. Perhaps it is the fact that Haruka manages to be very cool, even if she is not very feminine, a trait that Makoto wants to emulate. But for whatever reason Makoto once said: "I hope to grow up and be a woman like her."

As a sailor senshi, Jupiter controls nature although her earlier attacks deal with electricity, ki (as in Kino) stands for tree, and her final attack was Jupiter Oak Evolution. Considering that before she transforms she is very powerful, and adding to that the fact that her attacks mostly deal with electricity, she is definitely considered on of the most powerful senshi. Once she attacked Sailoruranus physically and although she didn't come away the winner, Uranus (considered the leader of the outer senshi) was marked by the encounter and admitted to Neptune that Jupiter was very strong.
