- - - - - - - /// Sailorneptune Attacks

- - - Deep Submerge
This is Neptune's first attack and the one we see her use the most. She calls upon the powers of the oceans and seas and a wave of water is compressed into a planet-shaped orb and thrown full-speed at the enemy.

- - - Submarine Reflection
This is used when Sailorneptune is in her Super form with the Deep Aqua Mirror (her talisman). It either reveals weaknesses through the use of the mirror, or spews forth multiple blasts of blue energy as an attack.

- - - Neptune Violin Tide
A manga only attack, Neptune uses her violin to create and fire dark energy.

- - - - - - - - - - /// Michiru in Depth

Michiru appeared with Haruka at the beginning of Sailormoon S. For some time the inner senshi regarded Neptune and Uranus as a threat and possible enemy. On numerous occasions Usagi asked them to join forces but it seemed they weren't fighting for the same thing. They were fighting to save the world, but on the other hand they wanted the same thing that the enemy wanted: the three talismans.

The enemies, Pharaoh 90, Mistress Nine, Professor Tomoe, Kaolinite, and the Witches Five, are after the Holy Grail. If they find it, they'd be able to conquer the world. However, to form the Holy Grail they had to find the three sacred talismans which were sealed in the pure heart crystals of three unlucky individuals. To find these people, Professor Tomoe creates daimon eggs (i.e.: the Monsters of the Day).

Neptune and Uranus were also after the three talismans and they worked alone. Their mission was to collect the talismans and summon upon the Messiah who would save the world from destruction. They knew that the three people whose pure heart crystals contained the talismans would die, but for the sake of the entire world, they were willing to sacrifice those innocent people. The inner senshi did come into the picture a couple of times, but did nothing much than annoy the two. Uranus and Neptune didn't reveal their intentions to the inner senshi and preferred to leave them in the dark so they would leave them to their own business. On a few occasions Neptune suggests taking sides with the inner senshi and fighting together, showing that Michiru is a caring person even if she shows a cold side as Neptune.

Michiru's love interest throughout the series, both anime and manga, is Haruka. They're always seen together and sometimes Michiru's character is overshadowed by Haruka. They wish to be together always and if they were to die, they should die together. They believe that lives can be sacrificed (two of those lives turn out to be their own) as long as the world is saved.

As you can tell, both Michiru and Haruka are dedicated to their duties. At the very end of Sailormoon Stars, they sacrifice their pure hearts to Galaxia and act as if to betray Sailormoon in order to catch Galaxia off guard. I'd imagine that as a senshi fighting for something they believe in, even to pretend-betray their leader and princess would be a hard thing to do. However, they kept their will, and even though Galaxia's bracelets were controlling them, they were able to rebel against Galaxia in an attempt to defeat or harm her. Either way, whatever they do, whether in life or death, they do it together.

Michiru is a highly mature high school student. She's somewhat like the neutral balance in Haruka's rough, impulsive, and passionate nature. She's usually quiet, keeps to herself, and doesn't let her emotions and passions get in the way of her goals. She's dedicated to her duties as a senshi to protect her princess, and puts those duties before all. Ever since her first appearance, she leaves quite an impression on the inner senshi, especially Usagi, who sees her to be sophisticated and admires her. She once tries to play Michiru's violin in a (failing) attempt to be able to do something like her. Michiru's calm, composed, and thinks with her head. At the same time she's reserved and doesn't open up to people completely. She's a bit mysterious and intriguing; people aren't sure what she's thinking.

A formidable violinist. Michiru is popular throughout Japan and goes on tours, with Haruka tagging along. In Sailor Stars, she's featured in one of the Three Light's concerts. The violin suits her character well; she's elegant and graceful and plays like so.

Michiru's element, much like Ami's, is water. However, while Ami focuses on water as a liquid, Michiru's attacks focus more on the sea and bodies of water. This also reflects her character well; the sea and ocean are calm, soothing and nurturing, but can be disastrous to those caught up in a storm. On the outside Michiru is much like an ocean; deep, mysterious, concealing. Those who don't know her well get a shallow glimpse of what she's really like, but she hides a lot of things underneath.
