- - - - - - - /// Sailoruranus Attacks

- - - World Shaking
This is Uranus' first attack. A small ball of energy appears in her hand, then she slams it into the ground as it grows bigger and stronger. It rarely misses its target and it hits it with no mercy.

- - - Space Sword Blaster
In the anime, Sailoruranus gets her talisman, the Space Sword. She shouts to attack and the sword grows longer and glows with a powerful yellow energy. She either uses it like a conventional sword or she throws a blast coming out of it at her target. This second attack is more powerful than her previous one. In the manga, when Uranus appears, she already has the talisman, so it's a power that she uses alternatively with World Shaking.

- - - Galactic Space Turbulence
This is a manga attack used by Uranus when she is turned evil by Galaxia.

Confusion befell the inner senshi with the appearance of Sailors Uranus and Neptune. Uranus and Neptune had a mission in Sailormoon S: to find the talismans in order to form the Holy Grail. Three talismans are contained in three people's pure hearts. Uranus and Neptune knew this and so did the Death Busters. Unfortunately, there was a negative effect if the Talismans were found: the carrier would have to die. But Uranus and Neptune were determined to find them, no matter the sacrifices they had to make. They made sure that Sailormoon and the inner senshi stood out of their way.

Haruka first made her appearance when Usagi and Minako met her at the Crown Game Center. They thought she was a man at first because she was handsome, tall, and wore boyish clothes. When they met Kaiou Michiru, they though that Haruka was her boyfriend. In fact, Haruka turned out to be Michiru's girlfriend. Later the inner senshi discovered to their surprise that Haruka and Michiru's alter identities were Sailors Uranus and Neptune.

Through the Sailormoon S season, Uranus and Neptune checked out every pure heart that was pulled out from the victims by the Death Busters' daimons and refuse to work alongside Sailormoon and the inner senshi. In fact, it turned out the carriers of the three talismans were Uranus, Neptune and Pluto themselves. When the three talismans were united, the Holy Grail appeared, which allowed Sailormoon to turn into Super Sailormoon. However, it turned out the messiah wasn't Sailormoon, so Uranus took it upon herself to now find the messiah. Whatever Uranus and Neptune did, they made sure that it was separate to what the inner senshi were doing. Throughout the Sailormoon S season, the outer and inner senshi never quite got along or worked in full harmony.

It's true that Haruka is an extremely independent individual. She likes to keep to herself and only lets people that are very close to her know her true feelings. Somehow the outer senshi are all alike in that way, aren't they? I suppose it shows the distance in their duties and their positions. The inner senshi are close to each other and protect their princess from earth, while the outer senshi's duties are to protect the solar system from outside enemies. In general the outer senshi are more a group of loners that stand alone more than the inner senshi.

Haruka's independent nature shows through in her hobbies. She loves running, a very independent and self-improving sport. She's on the track team, and also loves to ride race cars, as it is evident with her interest in motorcycles and nice sports cars. Sailoruranus' attacks mainly focus on wind or space, and an episode focusing on Haruka is based on her running and her dream to be like the wind. She likes the freedom that the wind stands for, and her running and fast vehicles help emulate that freedom.

Towards the Sailormoon Sailor Stars season, Haruka gets closer to the senshi and becomes especially protective of Usagi, with her being the princess and all. Once the Talismans were found and the threat of the Death Busters gone, Haruka and Michiru ally with the inner senshi, even though they sometimes like to do things their own way. Haruka's a strict teacher and doesn't excuse laziness or weakness often. She's somewhat harsh on the people around her as she is on herself and has a set of expectations for people to fill in her eyes. Often times Usagi surprises Haruka by being able to accomplish feats that Haruka thought impossible, or accomplishes them in a completely different manner than what Haruka was planning. Either way, though Haruka may be harsh on Usagi when she shows weakness, she only wishes for her to improve. Haruka is stubborn and has a narrow idea of how things should be accomplished.

Haruka and Michiru's relationship is quite interesting. They're one of the only couples in the series who don't have their massive share of drama or mush, and have been couples since they first appeared. It's as if Haruka and Michiru only truly open up to each other and keep their thoughts and feelings closed off to most other people. They've got a certain bond where they put themselves first above all. Though they vowed to each other that their duties will be first, Michiru especially has a hard time with it and often ends up putting Haruka before her duties in terms of their importance. Wherever the two go, whatever they do, they're always together. While Haruka is stubborn, passionate, somewhat impulsive and rough, Michiru is more sophisticated, feminine, quiet, and accepting. They're two halves of a whole and are great together.
