Chiharu is also a cheerleader, like Sakura and Naoko, as you can see from the picture below. Chiharu has the perfect energetic personality to be a cheerleader, as she is a girl with a lot of spunk. She is the most sarcastic/ slightly violent girl out of Sakura's friends (no one in CCS is really violent) in that she is always beating Yamazaki up whenever he starts to go off into one of his lies, tricking everyone around him.
One thing about Yamazaki is that he is a smart ass, and knows it. He is always teasing Chiharu, especially on her cooking, and seems to know that she likes him. It's almost as if they have a mutual agreement that they like each other, as they are always together. There is hardly any time where the two are uncomfortable around each other. Whenever Chiharu is embarrassed about something having to do with Yamazaki (like the time she wanted to give her hand made teddy bear to him) he takes it rather gracefully, usually with a smart ass remark. That usually helps ease Chiharu's embarrassment as she once again goes and strangles him. :P I like their relationship a lot in that they are so right for each other. And they rarely have any real problems, because both are laid back and easy going, and both know each other well. They're really amusing, and a great touch to the series. The thing about Chiharu is that without Yamazaki, she probably wouldn't have as much character development in the series. And that's the same with Yamazaki, also, as he would not have anyone to stop him when he goes off into lies, and that wouldn't be nearly as amusing without Chiharu taking care of that job. :P Chiharu is a very cute girl with lots of energy and spunk, and I can't help but love her. |

Obviously,
this is where Chiharu's love life comes in. It's very plain and
simple that Yamazaki and Chiharu were made for each other, they are a
perfect match. Chiharu is the only person who can see through Yamazaki's
lies, and is the only person who doesn't believe him. She and Yamazaki
were friends ever since they were little kids, so because of that,
Chiharu knows not to take anything that Yamazaki says too seriously, as
most of the time he is probably lying. Because of this, Chiharu is
the only restraint on Yamazaki's forever blabbering, lie creating mouth.
She sees through him almost every single time and ends up strangling him
in the background.
