Yamazaki: [Pops out of nowhere with his usual matter-of-fact pose] Everyone! Did you know?! ^_^ [His usual lying music plays in the background] Chiharu: [Her hands are on her hips] Are you making lies again? ¬¬ Yamazaki: I didn't even say anything yet! Chiharu: Then, what is it? [Sakura, Tomoyo, Meiling, and Shaolan are watching in the background, with Tomoyo taping and Meiling hanging all over Shaolan.] Yamazaki: Well, do you know about the "Blue Postbox?" Postboxes aren't all red. There are blue ones too. Sakura: [Wide-eyed] Are there really postboxes like that? Tomoyo: Isn't it one of Yamazaki-kun's usual lies? Meiling: [With dimples in her cheeks, hanging all over Shaolan and not really paying attention to anything else.] Of course! Yamazaki-kun's "realistic" stories like those are always lies. Right, Shaolan? Shaolan: [Looking dead] Heavy... Title page: "You're great, Sakura-chan! Tomoyo's Card Captor Sakura Action Video Diary Special!" [School is out, and the chimes ring.] Sakura: Well then, see you tomorrow! [Sakura is walking as Tomoyo tapes her. Meiling and Shaolan are behind them, with Meiling still hanging onto him like glue. :P] Sakura: [Suddenly] Aaaah!! It's a blue postbox!! [Surely it is. Right in front of them, in plain sight!] Shaolan: It really DOES exist. o.o Meiling: So Yamazaki-kun doesn't always lie... Tomoyo: It was a true story then... Sakura: We did a bad thing to distrust him. Meiling: Come to think of it!! Sakura: Hoe? o.o Meiling: [All charged up] When Yamazaki-kun was talking about the blue postbox... The other three: When he was... o.o Meiling: HIS EYES WERE OPEN!! :O The other three: Eh? -.- Meiling: That's right!! The usually tightly-closed eyes were definitely open!! [The three imagine Yamazaki, his open open with blurry censors over them] The other three: EHHHHH?! Sakura: But I've never seen Yamazaki-kun's eyes open before! Tomoyo: Me neither. I always worry that he might bump into things. Shaolan: Were they really open, Meiling? I didn't see it. Meiling: Hm... I wonder if there's any proof, like a picture of him with his eyes open... [Now the group is at Sakura's house. She puts a book on the table that says "Kinomoto Sakura - Memories"] Sakura: This is my album. [Next to Shaolan it says, "What grim eyebrows..." While next to Tomoyo it says, "Pictures! *heart* Sakura-chan's pictures! *double heart*" Next to Meiling it says, "Okay~ This'll do perfectly!" And next to Sakura it says, "How 'bout this?" Meiling: [Hyped up] This is it!! Thanks, Kinomoto-san!! *blink* Huh? What's this? [There's a picture of Sakura at the beach, with a swimming suit and a beach ball. In the background is Yamazaki, his face painted as a beach ball, his eyes closed, making a peace sign] Meiling: Why is he here?! [The next picture is of Sakura in her cheerleading outfit, cheering, with Yamazaki in the background, also in a cheerleading outfit, his eyes closed in the same smile.] Meiling: It's no good! His eyes aren't open!! [The next picture is of Sakura in a kimono in a festival, with Yamazaki camouflaged in the display rack behind her, his eyes still closed.] Tomoyo: But Sakura-chan is so cute! [The last picture is of Sakura in the foreground, licking a piece of frosting off of her finger, while Yamazaki is battling a cake in the background, his eyes the same as always.] Tomoyo: Ah! That's right! o_o When Yamazaki-kun was talking about the blue postbox, I was video taping Sakura-chan. I think Yamazaki-kun was also there... [A silence hangs over head.] Meiling: [Springing up] That's it!!! [So the four check out the video recording while Sakura is in the foreground, and Yamazaki is talking about the blue postboxes in the back, with his eyes open!] Sakura: It was true! His eyes are open. [Mysterious music is cued in.] Meiling: The usually-closed Yamazaki-kun's eyes are open. The usually-fake Yamazaki-kun's story was true. These two things aren't unrelated! So this is it!! Sakura: What is? Meiling: In other words, the things that Yamazaki-kun says with his eyes open are true!! Sakura: So that's how it is... [From outside the window, the group hears Chiharu and Yamazaki arguing again. She accuses him of lying again, while he denies it.] Meiling: It's Yamazaki-kun!! [Battle music is cued in.] Sakura: Are they outside?! Meiling: Let's hurry and go watch!! [She runs outside with the others following.] All four: Ah! There he is!! [As he talks, Yamazaki's eyes open in slow motion.] Meiling: His eyes are opening!!! Sakura: Which means... he's gonna tell the truth... Meiling: Shhh!! [They quiet down and listen.] Chiharu: so what about the blue postbox? Yamazaki: In the blue postbox, if you put in a letter to someone you love, that person will love you too! [His eyes are open wide, and they sparkle.] ["...that person will love you too!..." his words echo around Shaolan, Meiling, and Sakura. They all blush as Meiling thinks of Shaolan, and Shaolan and Sakura immediately think of Yukito. They suddenly realize something.] Meiling: I just remembered something! [Crawls out of the bushes, sweatdropping.] Shaolan: M... me too... Sakura: Me too! Tomoyo: Hohohohohoho!! [Laughs her evil Tomoyo-knows-everything laugh and follows after the group, video taping it all.] [Later that afternoon, Chiharu and Yamazaki are walking together again.] Yamazaki: [In his usual lying pose] And somehow there was a golden bear... Chiharu: That's enough. -.- [She stomps on Yamazaki's foot.] Yamazaki: Ouch! [Eyes fly open] [There is a pause.] Yamazaki: [Eyes close as Chiharu steps off.] That hurts. ^^ That's the third time today... During lunch break [Shows the scene where Yamazaki first talked about the blue post boxes], earlier [Shows the scene where the group was watching them earlier that day], and just now... Chiharu: But Yamazaki-kun, your eyes open when I step on your foot. [She steps on his foot a couple more times, and each time as she presses down, his eyes open, and as she lifts her foot, they close.] That's weird. Yamazaki: ^_^ It's some kind of habit. But I was surprised just now. To think that a blue postbox really existed. Chiharu: Didn't someone spill paint on it or something? [They walk away as Sakura, Meiling, and Shaolan are all fighting over who gets to put their love letters in the post office first. Tomoyo is taping them in the background. However, on the post box, there are traces of red under the blue paint. Looks lie someone had spilled paint on it after all.] Tomoyo: Sakura-chan, keep trying! The End! |
